“SAGARA” is a conceptual project that transforms an industrial building into a children’s entertainment center based on the city of Ventspils and objects important to it. The interior of the center “SAGARA” is being created as a stylized part of Ventspils, where the Venta river flows into the sea.

Through the whole entertainment part meanders Venta and located on both banks are important tourist attractions in Ventspils designed as play areas for kids of different ages. Upon entering in the children’s center Ventspils south pier lighthouse welcomes the visitors, which is located on a stylized sea gate. Passing through gate further down the river, it is possible to arrive in the Jūrmala park area, where a stylized train “mazbānītis” is placed. Livonia Castle attraction is located next to the train attraction, while on the other side of the river is an area for younger kids named “Children’s town”.
